2023 Endorsements

KFTC members are working for a day when all Kentuckians can thrive – when our lives and communities matter more than profits, and when every voice is heard in our democracy. To get there, we must elect leaders who share our values and who will govern for all of us.

That’s why voter engagement is a central focus for KFTC’s organizing. Members are sharing our vision for a better Kentucky across the state and listening to ideas from our neighbors. We’re registering, having conversations with, and mobilizing tens of thousands of voters.

And we’re supporting candidates who will work with and for us toward that vision. KFTC’s New Power PAC is endorsing:

  • Andy Beshear for Governor

  • Col. Pamela Stevenson for Attorney General

  • Buddy Wheatley for Secretary of State

  • Shameka Parrish-Wright for Louisville Metro Council, District 3

  • Phillip Baker for Louisville Metro Council, District 6

  • Ben Reno-Weber for Louisville Metro Council, District 8

These leaders have stood up for health care, public education, democracy, and more. This fall, Kentucky voters across races and places can come together and elect Andy Beshear, Pam Stevenson, and Buddy Wheatley to continue protecting our freedoms, our families, and our futures. Learn more about these and other candidates, and find information on voting, at www.KentuckyElection.org.

KFTC chapters and members make recommendations for endorsements, which are considered and decided by our elected statewide Executive Committee. The power of KFTC’s endorsement is in the action of Kentuckians. Find an event near you or virtual opportunities to get out the vote at www.KFTC.org/events.
